I designed and built a new website for Cygnus that reflects the clarity of their practice while giving them a flexible platform for growth.
Role: Creative Director, Designer, Developer

Cygnus Design Group is a strategic multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in way-finding, signage standards, and branded environments. Their work spans complex settings, from hospitals and universities to developers, cities and cultural institutions, where clarity, consistency, and a strong sense of place matter.
I designed and built a new website that could represent both the breadth of their practice and the rigour behind it. The site needed to balance story and utility: showcasing project work and long-term thinking, while making it easy for visitors to understand Cygnus’ core capabilities across way-finding programmes, placemaking, environmental graphics, signage design, and interpretive systems.
Built with Next.js and Sanity, the platform is structured around a component-based publishing system that lets the Cygnus team assemble pages from modular content blocks. This gives them a flexible framework for evolving portfolios, insights, and service narratives over time, while keeping layouts consistent, performant, and easy to maintain as the studio continues to grow.
